I believe that your hardest times often lead to the greatest moment of your life. If you are feeling hopeless, depressed and lonely, there is hope on the other side of the horizon.

My therapeutic work promotes self-discovery and growth through body, mind and emotional awareness. My aim is to help people develop the skills required to address challenging situations and cultivate a deep sense of self-acceptance and personal strength.

I am a registered Social Worker, with 30 years of clinical experience in mental health and Addiction issues. I am also a registered member of Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) I have Master’s degree in Social Work from UBC, a Masters in Sociology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Linguistics.

I am a wife, mother and have grand children, as well many years of life experience, which enables me to engage and connect with individuals of different age groups.

I support individuals, couples, Youth and children to navigate a wide range of challenges including: anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, grief/loss, trauma, life transitions or simply personal growth. I offer in-person, virtual or walk and talk therapy.

COUPLES THERAPY:

When working with couples, I focus on:  Relationship Repair and Counselling:

  • If your relationship is in jeopardy?
  • Are you and your partner fighting all the time or living like roommates?
  • Has infidelity thrown your relationship in crisis?

I have helped hundreds of couples restore and strengthen safety, trust, commitment and emotional closeness and connections, I can help you as well.

FAMILY THERAPY:

I am trained as a Play therapist and have worked with several families and their children of all ages.

  • Is your family experiencing conflict, violence or disconnection?
  • Are you estranged from some family members?
  • Are you wanting to mend and heal relationships with you adult children?

I can work with all types of family dynamics and ages to help resolve conflicts and restore a sense of connection.
