Canadian Certified Counsellor

Embarking on the healing journey is a courageous step, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Welcome to a space that is understanding, compassionate, and committed to your emotional well-being. Do you feel stuck in an overwhelming sense of helplessness, frustration, worry, or fear marked by intense physical discomfort? This is because trauma, anxiety, and depression impact both the mind and body. I can help you heal by regulating the nervous system and integrating body and mind in a safe and structured manner. Together, we’ll work to ease fear, promote integration, cultivate positive states, and achieve a renewed sense of well-being.

I have received specialised training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Family Systems Therapy, and the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Model (ITATM)®. ITATM® goes beyond traditional talk therapy and integrates various modalities such as:

  • –  sensory processing
  • –  somatic/body movement
  • –  art
  • –  breath work
  • –  embodied awareness
  • –  bilateral stimulation
  • –  cognitive reframing (CBT)
  • –  biofeedback

This multifaceted approach allows for a tailored and holistic treatment plan, creating a comprehensive framework to address the intricate layers of trauma, anxiety, and depression.

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (C.C.C. registration #10010815) and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) with a Master of Social Sciences in Counselling (2016) from the University of Hong Kong and a Master of Science in Psychology (2022) from the University of Glasgow. I bring a wealth of experience from working as an educator and counselling in South Africa, Hong Kong, and Canada. My multicultural background equips me with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Your healing journey begins here, and I’m honoured to be your guide with cultural sensitivity and safety. I offer services in both English and Cantonese, working with clients aged 8 and up.
